Chrysalid: Musicians for Katrina Relief CD is a project organized by coalition of international musicians using their art to raise funds in support of the victims of hurricane Katrina.

Born in 1973, Wopelka is Swiss. Hence he makes his living in a bank and likes chocolate. However it is noteworthy that he can live without a watch. He is broke because of buying very pricey stuff in order to make noises with his computer. Writing and playing theatre are also among his artistic interests.
His musical influences (or at least his musical tastes) include: first and foremost: classical music, from Bach to Boulez, with a soft spot for XX century composers; pink floyd, radiohead, kruder & dorfmeister, noir désir, all sorts of experimental music, post rock, trip hop, and the best french songwriters.
Made with a Rhodes MKii sampled instrument and the help of a delay effect. Mostly improvised, edited and completed in Sonar.
