Of Welsh and southern-English descent and upbringing, haydxn now lives as a 24 year-old man in Manchester. He makes music (using Tracktion) to suit his moods and tastes, which are usually diametrically opposite to his girlfriend's. He especially enjoys making music from non-musical sound sources (such as an iron, or elastic bands, or doing the washing up). Apparently it's not too painful to listen to! His other main passion is computer programming, and is often found making little VST plug-ins or applications to help fill a slot for someone. Just ask him if you need something that doesn't exist, chances are he'll give it a go.
"I wrote this song to try and vent my feelings on this disaster. That's probably what everyone is saying, and that's because it's true and natural. It's definitely not my best song! However, I do feel that it captures what my emotional response to the events were, and for that I'm pleased. I'd like to have a cartoon video for this song, as I feel that the sounds I used are almost descriptive of things happening. The opening shows you the destroyed landscape, and then a bunch of hovering search vehicles enter the area, using searchlights to scour for survivors. The melodic piece focuses on a group of survivors, looking out for each other. The strange airy horn sound comes from the search patrol, trying to draw out victims for rescue. A cry comes out from the group. One of the group attempts to call for help using a cellphone, and the hovering vehicles respond. The survivors are lifted to safety, and the whole landscape rebuilds itself behind them as they are taken to safety.
That's what I imagine anyway!"
