Chrysalid: Musicians for Katrina Relief CD is a project organized by coalition of international musicians using their art to raise funds in support of the victims of hurricane Katrina.

Atlanta, GA, 12/23/05 -- A group of 44 independent musicians have released a double cd compilation featuring 39 tracks by artists from 14 different countries. The proceeds from CD sales will be donated evenly between the Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity to aid Hurricane Katrina victims.
The online coalition of musicians that have given their art to benefit those in need include members from the www.kvraudio.com music forum. The forum is focused on music software development, and as such, many developers contributed prizes to help bolster pre-orders. The CD pre-orders have raised thousands of dollars and the continued sales of the cds will raise much more money for those in need.
